School Hours this Week: Monday-Friday 4:45-8:00PM, Saturday 10AM-8PM, Sunday 12PM-8PM
Children who have not yet completed 5th grade (rising 6th Grader) must be accompanied by a chaperone not less than fifteen years of age. All non-swimmers, regardless of the use of flotation devices, must be accompanied at all times.
All children 4 and under must remain within an arms length of their adult or chaperone, either in the water or poolside.
The baby and toddler area (tot lot) is for the exclusive use of children ages 5 and under. Children using the tot lot must be under the direct supervision of a parent or responsible babysitter. Please ask a lifeguard before turning on the hose.
Proper swim attire is required. Appropriate swim diapers should be used in the main pool for children who are not toilet trained.
Running in the pool area is prohibited. Running entries are allowed in the deep end from within the yellow line and are NOT allowed in the shallow end. Skates, scooters, etc. may not be used on deck.
For the safety and comfort of all members, recreational flotation devices, balls and other toys will be permitted in the main pool at the discretion of the guards. No recreational floats in the deep end (pool noodles are okay). Do not jump from the side onto such items.
No roughhousing - including chicken fighting, hitting with pool noodles, and using water guns.
Diving is not allowed in the shallow end.
Feet-first entry only is allowed on the slide.
Guards will clear the pool of youth under the age of 18 (lifeguards or a baby being held by an adult are an exception) for a 10 minute period at the end of every hour. Additional breaks may be called at the discretion of the lifeguards.
All members and guests shall obey pool rules and treat others courteously. The staff may evict any person not in compliance with the rules, disregarding or disobeying reasonable directions from lifeguards, or engaging in disruptive, abusive, or other unacceptable behavior.
Additional rules are posted around the pool. Please note the deep end rules below.
Deep End:
Jump straight off the board, not to the side
No flips off the side of the pool, only off the board
No pool floats allowed
Do not hang on the rope or the diving board
If 8 or more kids want to play a game in the deep end, get lifeguard permission and put the orange cone on the diving board to indicate the diving board is off limits during the game
The entire property - pool and recreational areas - is smoke free.
No glass or pets (unless a service animal) on the pool deck.
Do not eat near the pool edge, throw away all trash/recycling, and leave your area clean.
Radios/laptops/personal devices players may only be used with earphones.
Do not leave valuables in the bathrooms. The club is not responsible for lost or stolen articles, although we do maintain an area for lost & found in the game room. Unclaimed items will be periodically donated.
Please purchase passes in advance through your MemberSplash account. $5 per pass; 10 passes are $40.
Visitors who live outside a 90 mile radius of Chapel Hill are free, as are non-swimming guests.
More than 5 guests at a time is considered a party and should be booked with the social chair.
